Traffic Cheater Meets His Match In Russia, Is Forced Back In Line

We see traffic cheaters every day and yet very few people stand up to these inconsiderate drivers.

In fairness, getting in an argument with a cheater is not the solution because if it was, what would the police be for anyway? Still, some drivers get fed up tolerating traffic cheaters and blow off steam from time to time. That’s exactly what happens in this dashcam video from Russia. The footage starts normally, showing yet another cold rainy day of urban driving.

As the cammer starts crossing an intersection, he enters a former one-way street temporarily allowing two-way traffic. Just as he drove onto said road, he saw an oncoming Lada Priora that cut in line, almost blocking the way.

Even though he might have squeezed between the Priora and the curb, the driver was determined not to let this slide. So he starting calling out to the other driver to reverse, accompanying his requests with occasional swearing and honking.

At one point, the Priora guy exited the car and tried to explain to the angry driver why he was in that lane, but the latter would have none of it. Our Russian is not good at all so we can’t know what he was saying exactly. Whatever his excuse was, it didn’t make the other driver flinch.

In the end, the cheating driver had no choice but to reverse all the way down to the back of the line he was trying to cut. You might argue about the cammer’s manners and right to do what he did but the truth is he was extremely effective.

They don’t have any other swear words than blyat…?

    • Marc Gruben

“Yob tvuoy mat” is pretty effective, along with “suka”

  • I love watching Stop a Douchebag channel on YT. Their channel specifically focuses on Russians penchant for driving on sidewalks with pedestrians walking.

Yes, yes, punish all the “cheaters”. But don’t be surprised when one day you will be REALLY in a hurry and someone blocks you, because of your “cheating” and you wouldn’t be able to do nothing. There are even laws prohibiting someone to block others, but everybody ignores these laws.

    • exeptor

Laws can be a slippery sometimes and if badly written they might be interpreted differently, but in this case the one that blocks the others was the cheater. He just doesn’t have anything to do in the opposite direction line and in a hurry or not he doesn’t have any special privileges nor he has any special signs (sirens, lamps, etc.).

      • ace_9

Well, first of all, there was enough space and the one with a camera was the one actually blocking people behind him and he was also blocking the “cheater”. Secondly, it is not about privileges, but actually it is a violation of the law if you block someone going faster (yes, even far above speed limit) or if someone is cheating. Unless you know, that it is for example a criminal escaping from police, you can be prosecuted for blocking the person. I’m however not surprised you don’t know that. Most of the people are putting themselves above the law in these situations and they always like to “teach” someone. I know you don’t believe me, so please, go find it in your traffic laws. It should be there somewhere. If you see someone going faster and overtaking everyone, you HAVE TO let him pass unless you can be endangered by trying to do so.

        • exeptor

Well good luck of providing a solid evidences that I was able to pass around you. Even if you say something like “it is a two lane road and so two cars should be able to move in parallel” it still won’t be enough as you are the actual violator on the road. Even if an ambulance is blocked behind me (in this case I will allow you to be arrogant and not pushing you back) and the person in it dies because of all this stupidity then again you will face the charge. As I said – do what the guy on the video did and then try to find a law which makes the other driver guilty. I will be extremely amazed if you find a court which will stand by your side. And it is not because they are ignorant or so but only because they have a sense of reason. Sorry but you try to be pedantic in a situation where you just have to say “stupid arrogant assho*e”.

  • Six_Tymes

not only is he a jerk, but also a complete idiot. he actually got out to argue his dumb move.

    • ace_9

What if he was telling the other guy: “Sorry, I just want to get quickly to the hospital. My wife was just sent there after an accident.” ? I’m quite sure, this was not the case. But the video would look quite the same and you would post the same comment, if that would really happen. There are situations when someone does not care about other fellow motorists. Just because you cannot think of them does not give you right to play judge and executioner.

  • Joe Mosely

The guy’s Uzi musta jammed and he had to back all the way to the end of the line.

  • brn

There was no punishment. The “cheater” simply had to go back to his rightful place in line.

Society needs order. If we allow everyone to do everything, we have chaos, then society will fail.

    • ace_9

Society is failing because of people like the one filming it. Aggressive, arrogant, self-important and ignorant dictators. You might want to turn it around to a big social issue, but the issue is much bigger with the rude and aggressive camera guy, than the “cheater” who clearly was not any type of threat for society.

      • Mike Gonzalez

You are just plain dumb… from the moment somebody’s actions attack my freedom to move forward in my own lane, is an attack to society as his actions not only affects to myself but to everyone that’s right behind me. I actually would’ve slapped the heck out of that douchebag TBH

        • ace_9

Are you blind? There was enough space to go around him and the previous car even did that. But the one with a camera decided to block everyone behind him and also the “cheater”. And if you would have slapped anyone for that, then I hope you find someone who will be similarly aggressive. And don’t forget about many people carrying a gun. You have my approval. I rather tolerate the cheaters who usually don’t mean any harm besides getting somewhere faster, than people like you or the one in the video.

  • pcurve

he’s going to to it again anyway

  • ace_9

Sure, I agree with having laws. But the camera guy violated them himself. He should just try to go around and call the police if he really wanted to do something about that. He had a video. He could even tell the other guy calmly to go back or he calls the police. He might even be surprised by getting an answer with a very good reason from the Lada guy. Having laws does not mean that it is up to anyone to enforce them.

  • ACM1899

3 out of 4 words here were cusswords LMFAO!!! Gotta love Russian! LMFAO

  • brn

How did you get away with that? I know if I say butt hole, my comment will be blocked.

    • Paul

The wording. It was not a foul word like A** would be.
