Almost anyone with a driver’s license will probably understand how the driver of that RAM pickup must have felt when that BMW sneaked ahead of him.

However, if we’re being fair to the driver of that black BMW X4, they didn’t really cut off the RAM, but changed lanes and even put their blinkers on, although very briefly.

Now, given the somewhat bumper-to-bumper traffic, it’s normal for any driver to somehow feel cheated. You’re probably already late to where you’re going, and you’re in no mood to catch the next red just because somebody took your spot.

On the other hand, it’s technically not against the law to change lanes the way that BMW did. Just follow more closely to the car ahead and you can avoid these types of situations – and by more closely we mean in a safe manner, obviously. Keeping your eyes on the road at all times and having situational awareness should do the trick.

So, what say you: was the driver of the RAM right to regain his or her position in traffic the way they did, by mounting the curb?
