Angry RAM Driver Doesn’t Take Kindly To BMW Cutting Him Off

Almost anyone with a driver’s license will probably understand how the driver of that RAM pickup must have felt when that BMW sneaked ahead of him.

However, if we’re being fair to the driver of that black BMW X4, they didn’t really cut off the RAM, but changed lanes and even put their blinkers on, although very briefly.

Now, given the somewhat bumper-to-bumper traffic, it’s normal for any driver to somehow feel cheated. You’re probably already late to where you’re going, and you’re in no mood to catch the next red just because somebody took your spot.

On the other hand, it’s technically not against the law to change lanes the way that BMW did. Just follow more closely to the car ahead and you can avoid these types of situations – and by more closely we mean in a safe manner, obviously. Keeping your eyes on the road at all times and having situational awareness should do the trick.

So, what say you: was the driver of the RAM right to regain his or her position in traffic the way they did, by mounting the curb?

Yet another passive/aggressive Canadian? There are millions of ’em. Believe me.

    • Anton Yuri Calderon

They make the other few hundred thousand look bad!

      • Bob White

But are quite tame compared to intoxicated angry expat Ruskies living on the edge. Lol

So you think Canada has 200,000 people?

    Tiny penis alert.

    • Loquacious Borborygmus

Thanks for the information but I won’t think any less of you.

    • Ken Lyns

Does the LJ compensate for your tiny penis?

      • LJ

I have no idea what that means.

        • Ken Lyns

You drive an LJ right? As in TJ Wrangler Unlimited with the longer wheelbase?

          • LJ

            LJ are my initials.

  • Six_Tymes

Canadian BMW owners are almost as bad as Prius drivers.

  • Randy Terpstra

Toronto drivers, lol. Probably the closest that Ram will ever get to an off-road experience. 😀

  • Ken Lyns

Just don’t drive on the curb for too long in Toronto. You might be mistaken for an incel…

  • Bash

wow, he could’ve just RAM thru that bmw. 😉

    • Loquacious Borborygmus

Ha! I see what you did there!

      • Bash

        lol 😉

  • Jay

It wasn’t that serious. After they got on the highway the Merc would’ve surely passed the Ram again eventually.

Ram driver needs a bitch slap and a few tickets.

  • Kagan

It looked like a half cut off.

  • alexxx

Not a way to change lines

  • MarketAndChurch

it’s weird because both ram and bmw drivers are fitting an existing stereotype.

  • charlotteharry57

While it’s hard to judge the right and wrong of this, I hope the RAM driver got a flat.

  • Loquacious Borborygmus

Yeah the RAM driver was an idiot but the BMW Entitlement wasn’t much better.

    • cooper

The BMW could have been a Corolla. Child like Ram driver could have received a few tickets. BMW would not have received any tickets.

      • Loquacious Borborygmus

Generally a Corolla driver won’t feel as entitled as those that drive the German uber wagons.

        • cooper

True, yet the child driving the Ram would have done the same thing no matter what vehicle pulled in front of him.

  • Knotmyrealname

    D-bag alert x 2

  • Blade t

The BMW driver goes straight to the tailgater move after the truck went around him. The BMW is x 2 douche moves, ram truck x 1 ..

  • Mr. EP9

Florida man would have done it better.

    • Navy – Lincoln ✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

I would have beaten his ass.

  • TheToadPrince..~~ToadSquad

that was a cut off…u cant just blink ur signals and just jolt in front of him…thats how rear ends happen…The ram couldnt see his turn signal..the dude in x4 is douche…props to the damage no nothing..and its funny the x4 person was mad af…why because u cut someone off and tge dude took matters into his own hands. screw bmw

  • cooper

    Ram driver is an idiot.

  • дапвт

It’s an unsafe lane change, so therefore illegal. It’s a moving violation.

  • ChrisInIL

Was the RAM driver right to regain his position? What an ingorant question.

    It’s not a competition.

    Get over yourself.

    • Perry F. Bruns

Yeah! Fine him, penalize him a lap and a stop-start, and get back to the green.

      Oh, wait…

  • Paul

It’s better to be kind and let someone in rather than force your way in like the BMW tried. The Ram driver’s doings were not really legal but yet it was funny and in some ways proper because it showed the BMW driver what an ass he was actually being.

    • cooper

Ram driver proper? He or/she was dozing off and another vehicle moved in front. Technically the Ram driver should have be been the recipient of several tickets.
      1. Aggressive driving
      2. Passing on a shoulder

If the driver was this stupid to jump a curb because a vehicle moved in front they probably had some other issues inside the vehicle. And if you think this was a proper way of handling the situation you’re just as child like and or ignorant.

  • dolsh

Lakeshore in Toronto – just south of where the SkyDome is. It’s also where all the really expensive condos are in town.
Over the last several years, driving through here gets less, and less fun. Partially because there’s non-stop construction, partially because there are merges and exits that back up for ages (which is likely what happened here), and partially because this road was designed before the boom in population in the area. It’s not possible to drive this stretch now without seeing some bonkers move by another motorist.

  • Liam Paul

the bmw was wrong to cut in so fast and the ram was wrong too but it was funny.

  • brn

I was delighted to see that they were both civil after the incident. Just continued about their business.

Oh…the pettiness by the Ram driver.

  • Loquacious Borborygmus

There’s also an argument that you don’t ride the driver in fronts ass even in stop start driving.
There’s another argument that the BMW driver suddenly knew exactly which lane they wanted to be in.
Then again, these are just assumptions…

  • datCubanguy

Ego and pettyness can be such a drag.

  • S3XY

Lol. Funny. When driving, there is no rush. Sit back, relax, don’t let your ego get ahold of your emotions. Always be non reactive. If someone cuts you off, let it go. I’m listening to bumpin music, I could care less. I’m in a unique show car, take a look at me. Don’t care about anything that happens. No big deal. Stay safe and don’t rage.
