Bugatti is set to unveil a new car at Pebble Beach and it’s expected to be a limited edition inspired by the EB 110.

While the automaker hasn’t confirmed that, they haven’t exactly been playing coy either. In the past two months, they’ve sent out five different press releases highlighting the EB 110 and its legacy.

Fast forward to today and we could be getting our first glimpse at the upcoming model. As noticed by Motor1, Drive Experience recently posted a video which features Loris Bicocchi and Davide Cironi visiting the old Bugatti factory in Campogalliano and checking out the EB 110 SS.

The clip gets off to a slow start, but Bicocchi eventually invites Cironi to check out a “present.” At the three minute mark, you can see the pair examine a mysterious model underneath a sheet.

As you can see, the vehicle appears to be a retro-inspired supercar the mimics the EB 110. Details are hard to make out, but the car has a Chiron-esque front fascia which gives way to slab-sided bodywork that recalls the EB 110. The model also has a rakish windscreen, a compact greenhouse and a low roof.

The video doesn’t talk about the mystery model, but it should be unveiled later this week. Little is known about the car, but it should have a quad turbocharged 8.0-liter W16 engine that produces at least 1,479 hp (1,103 kW / 1,500 PS) and 1,180 lb-ft (1,600 Nm) of torque. It enables the standard model to accelerate from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 2.4 seconds and hit 186 mph (300 km/h) in 13.1 seconds. Given enough room, the Chiron will eventually hit a top speed of 261 mph (420 km/h).
