Unfortunately for fans of big two-door luxury SUVs, Land Rover killed the Range Rover SV last year. But the strange project is not all gone as designer Niels van Roij has given it a new lease on life.

Named the Adventum Coupe, it’s a coachbuilt model sketched by van Roij and made by Bas van Roomen that follows the striking design of the Range Rover SV and packs the 525 HP 5.0-liter supercharged V8.

The model retains the original‘s front fenders, bonnet and tailgate, but everything else is custom-made. In addition to the aluminum panels, the B-pillars were repositioned and the whole body was reinforced to cope with the chopping and realignment.

The first Adventum Coupe of the 100-unit production run rocks Arctic White paint and a Red interior. The cabin sports fine Nappa leather, black piano lacquer, electrically operated captain’s chairs at the back, unique door handles, teak floors and boot, and a few other gizmos that boost the appeal.

Customization is possible, with the company offering numerous single- or dual-tone paint finishes, fuel filler caps, wood trim, leather and so on.

“In a co-design process with the future owner, we shape the exterior and interior”, said van Roij. “We process the finest materials, such as tweed, teak and lambswool. We make it so personal that even the favorite pinstripe from the owner’s suit can be incorporated into the interior”, he added.

Pricing for the coachbuilt Range Rover starts at €270,000 (equal to $303,169), and that’s before taxes. Depending on the complexity, the building process takes at least six months. Niels van Roij Design is already accepting orders for it and you can place one too if you’re willing to pay a €50,000 ($56,142) deposit to ensure your bespoke Adventum Coupe gets built.
