The topic of abandoned supercars has always fascinated car enthusiasts worldwide and the place with the highest density of very expensive vehicles left to rot has to be Dubai.

The Middle Eastern city has achieved global fame for its very tall skyscrapers, huge shopping malls, exquisite hotels and fine restaurants. The car scene there is spectacular too (Dubai police force included) but, sadly, the emirate is also a hotspot for abandoned supercars.

But why is that? Being based in Dubai, vlogger Supercar Blondie offers some insight in her latest video shot at one of the city’s scrapyards which is full of expensive automobiles that have been abandoned, seized or crashed.

There are few places in the world (if any) where you can see damaged expensive cars like the Rolls-Royce Wraith, Lamborghini Gallardo, Mercedes-AMG GT S, Ferrari California T, Bentley Bentayga, Mercedes-AMG G63 and more of the same parked side by side.

As you’re about to see, each car has its unique story and all of them can be bought at auctions, in many cases for a small fraction of their market value. Take for instance the white Ferrari California T featured at the beginning of the video. It does not appear to have any defects so it was probably seized or simply abandoned by an owner hurrying to leave Dubai to avoid paying debts.

The lowest price of a similar model in the UAE is around $100,000 but you could get this one for as little as $40,000 at auction if you’re lucky enough. Over to you, supercar bargain hunters.
