The Koenigsegg Jesko is still going through the final stages of development, and while we wait for the production version to arrive, the Swedish company has decided to show the car winter testing in a fun way by making a special Easter-themed video of it driving out in the snow.

Called “Egghunt”, the video begins with a man hunting for Easter eggs out in the Swedish wilderness. He makes his way through the forest and across a frozen lake, at which point he happens to stumble upon a Koenigsegg test facility. Inside, there’s a bare carbon Jesko test car that he eventually decides to take out for a spin, but not before being so astonished at his find that he drops his Easter basket.

The rest of the video shows the Jesko gracefully dancing across the snow-covered test track, kicking up rooster tails of powder to the soundtrack of its twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter flat-plane crank V8. That engine, which is claimed to be the fastest-revving engine to ever be fitted in a production vehicle, makes a whopping 1,578 hp (1,600 PS / 1,177 kW) and 1,106 lb-ft (1,500 Nm) of torque on E85 fuel and a still-impressive 1,262 hp (1,280 PS / 941 kW) and 738 lb-ft (1,000 Nm) on regular pump gas.

That allows the Jesko to sprint from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in just 2.5 seconds, as well as reach a theoretical top speed of 300 mph (483 km/h) in the spec from the video or an even higher 330 mph (531 km/h) in the low-drag Absolut configuration, making it one of the fastest production cars on the planet.
