A few months after Hyundai introduced the facelifted Venue in India, the automaker announced the N Line variant of the small SUV. The Venue N Line will sit at the top of the lineup with sporty styling cues, a version-specific setup for the suspension and the steering, plus plenty of standard equipment.

Visually, the N Line treatment is not as sporty as in other Hyundai models, but it still stands out from the lesser trims, including the signature red accents on the lower part of the bodywork which has been redesigned.

Differences from the regular Venue include the new front and rear aluminum-style skidplates which are divided in the middle, the sportier bumper intakes, the 16-inch alloy wheels, the larger rear spoiler, and of course the red trim pieces on the plastic cladding. At the back, the highlight is the dual tailpipes finished in chrome, which are fully functional, delivering a sportier sound. Finally, N Line badges have been added on the grille, front fenders, and tailgate.

Inside, Hyundai added red piping and stitching on the N-branded seats, doors, dashboard and gearknob, contrasting with the black upholstery. The sporty atmosphere is enhanced by the aluminum pedals and the paddle shifters behind the steering wheel. Standard equipment includes an 8-inch infotainment with plenty of connectivity features, a new digital instrument cluster, a Bose sound system, and a sunroof.

As reported by Autocar India, the Hyundai Venue N Line will be exclusively offered with a turbocharged 1.0-liter three-cylinder petrol engine producing 118 hp (88.3 kW / 120 PS) and 172 Nm (127 lb-ft). Power will be sent to the front axle exclusively through a seven-speed DCT. In a typical N Line flavor, the SUV also benefits from version-specific tuning for the suspension and steering which offers improved handling in combination with the standard disc brakes on all four wheels.

Hyundai will publish more details about the Venue N Line during its digital debut on Metaverse which is scheduled for September 6. As the flagship trim, the N Line is expected to cost more than the most expensive Venue SX, which is currently priced at ₹1,272,000 ($15,930) in India with the same engine/gearbox combination.
