Last year, Alfa Romeo announced they sold out the entire production run of the Giulia GTA and GTAm (500 units). However, those who didn’t get a chance to acquire the limited-production model or simply couldn’t afford it, now have an alternative solution. The PariS’5 GaraGe bodyshop from Italy is offering a replica bodykit of the GTAm that looks quite convincing to the naked eye and is compatible with all variants of the Giulia.

The first finished example of the tuned model premiered at the Autodromo Varano in Italy with a special livery. In the video shot by Aureus Car Spotlight, we can see the yellow-painted Giulia GTAm impersonator sharing the track with the custom-made Brera-based Alfa Romeo GT-Sud Est which was also created by the same team.

PariS’5 GaraGe‘s bodykit is so close to the original that is really hard to tell them apart. It includes a redesigned bumper with larger intakes merging with the complex carbon-fiber splitter, extra holes around the scudetto grille, side skirt blades, wider front fenders with larger gills, rear fender extensions, a massive rear wing, and a large diffuser with dual exhaust pipes mounted in the center. There is also a new vented bonnet on the way that will be added to the kit at a later date.

A closer examination reveals that the rear wing is slightly smaller in the replica, and the aftermarket tailpipes used in the conversion are a tiny bit larger in diameter compared to the factory-fitted Akrapovič titanium exhaust (114 mm versus 104 mm to be precise). Finally, the 20-inch alloy wheels do a good-enough impression but they don’t have the center-lock design of the original. However, only Alfa Romeo aficionados will be able to spot those details, and most people will think you’re driving a genuine GTAm.

As a base for the build, the team used a Giulia Quadrifoglio, which is the closest you can get to the performance credentials of the limited production GTA/GTAm. Both models are fitted with the twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 engine, but have different states of tune, resulting in a power output of 503 hp (375 kW / 510 PS) in the Quadrifoglio and 532 hp (397 kW / 540 PS) in the GTA/GTAm. However, the Quadrifoglio is widely available and significantly cheaper than the limited production special.

Of course, the design of the aero and the engine tune are not the only things that differentiate the GTA/GTAm from a regular Quadrifoglio. The special models feature a more aggressive chassis setup and are up to 220 lbs (100 kg) lighter thanks to several weight-saving measures. Still, most of those differences are not visible to the naked eye, at least from the exterior.

If you already own a Giulia Quadrifoglio, the price for making it look like a GTAm is €9,093 ($9,053), while for lesser Giulia variants the price goes up since you’ll need some extra components. This might not be cheap for an aftermarket solution, but adding it up to the price of a used Giulia Quadrifoglio is only a fraction of the current value of a genuine Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm which sells for around €250k ($249k) in Europe.

More specifically, the €9k figure for the entire kit includes €1,999 ($1,990) for the front bumper, €1,500 ($1,493) for the hood, €1,499 ($1,492) for the front fenders, €499 ($497) for the skirt blades, €599 ($596) for the rear fenders, €699 ($696) for the rear wing, €1,499 ($1,492) for the diffuser, and €799 ($795) for the exhaust.

Note that these are indicative prices for a bodykit made of composite materials, subjected to changes since the cost of the supplies is increasing. Also, if you want the bodykit to be made of Kevlar then the price goes up by 30 percent, while the carbon fiber option that is available per request will be even more expensive.
