It’s hard to be a petrolhead and not be a fan of the Koenigsegg Agera, one of the most hardcore driving machines on Planet Earth. This RS1 version is basically a bespoke take on the regular RS, and its owner had it fitted with the 1 Megawatt package.
What this means is that it’s putting down roughly 1,360 HP and 1,011 lb-ft (1,370 Nm) of torque, with the help of a seven-speed automatic gearbox. That’s enough muscle to send it to 62 mph (100 km/h) from rest in just 2.8 seconds, and to 186 mph (300 km/h) in 12.3 seconds.
According to Koenigsegg, the RS1 weighs just 2,845 lbs (1,290 kg) dry and can pull up to 1.8G while cornering thanks to its elongated front and rear wishbone suspension and advanced aero features.
Visually, the RS1 stands out thanks to its Arctic White exterior with blue details on the front winglets, side skirts, diffuser and rear wing, plus loads of blue Alcantara inside, combined with polished carbon fiber and black anodized aluminum surfaces.
So what did reviewer Doug DeMuro think of the RS1? After talking us through all of its quirks and features both inside and out, he took the K-Segg out on the road and was blown away by the sheer relentlessness of its hand-built twin turbocharged 5.0-liter V8, as well as its soundtrack.
Is it worth $10,000,000, though? You’d have to have really deep pockets in order to say ‘yes’ to that question.
