For years, the Toyota Prius was the quint-essential ‘green’ car and adored by those looking to do their part for the environment. The following Prius, owned by Ben Schulz, is unlike any other we know of and the worst nightmare for the environmentally-conscious.
Eager to make something unique, Schulz has equipped his silver Prius with a 4BT Cummins turbo-diesel engine which, somewhat surprisingly, seems to fit quite well in the engine bay of the Toyota.

For those that don’t know, the 4BT Cummins engine is a 3.9-liter turbo-diesel four-cylinder delivering 105 and 265 lb-ft (359 Nm) of torque in standard form. It is an absolute beast of a thing weighing almost 800 pounds (363 kg) with oil and shares much of its DNA with the 5.9-liter 12-valve diesel engine from Cummins.

The 4BT used by Schulz looks to be outfitted with an enlarged aftermarket turbocharger and a host of other performance modifications, including a massive intercooler. The owner lovingly refers to the car as PriCum, a portmanteau of Prius and Cummins, and a not-so-subtle reference to something else entirely…
Rather than featuring a normal exhaust, the modified Prius has an exhaust that exits right out of the engine bay, allowing the car to easily roll coal in a manner that’s bound to upset Prius owners far and wide. The car has also been converted to rear-wheel drive and can spin up its wheels with ease.
